Advocacy & Education
An important part of implementing CAHMCO’s mission is to advocate across the County on behalf of affordable housing and to provide the tools of information to County residents, municipal and township leaders, County leaders and the business community.
It has been an integral agent in the formation of a McHenry County Housing Commission, to promote model housing developments which include a mix of affordable and sustainable housing.
CAHMCO is committed to advocacy and education as a vital tool in expanding housing opportunities in McHenry County.
